Chief (Dr.) S.I. Adegbite is the visionary founder of Oasis Group Limited. He is the Chairman of Intercontinental Homes Savings & Loans Ltd and Oasis Insurance Company Plc. He is also a director of Unilever Nigeria Plc and Intercontinental Bank Plc. He was previously the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank PLC and Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council at Ladoke Akintola University, Nigeria.

He has a diploma in Banking from the Institute of Bankers, London and a LLB honours from the University of London. He was called to the Nigerian bar in 1971. He’s a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (and was the President from 1987 to 1989), Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administration, and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
